Why does this configuration matter?

Image hosts typically handle a lot of traffic, especially the ones offering free casual sharing.

Those hosts setup firewalls and apply other optimizations to keep their service running smoothly:

• Firewalls by default throttle or block bot/crawler traffic, in order to protect the owners’ server and network resources.
• Certain optimizations, like converting the image format in realtime to a smaller filesize, have good use when used for casual sharing, but are known to cause image rejections by certain marketplace crawlers.

What Img.vision does differently

This page lists which platforms Img.vision has image delivery configuration for so that their importers never reject your photos. Our goal is to have maximum compatibility with marketplaces, listing tools, and online store importers.

We configure and tune our image delivery configuration based on real traffic that passes through our image delivery network. We do not rely on third party data which may contain inaccuracies or outdated data. Each configuration rule is verified and checked before being put in place.

Existing rules are also continuously monitored and audited. We frequently update and tune existing rules.

If your marketplace, listing tool, integration, or webstore is not listed, it doesn’t mean that your photos will be rejected.
