Automatic retries

When a subscription charge is attempted and it fails, we will do automatic retries.

In total there will be 3 retries with each time 7 days in between. That makes 1 initial try and 3 retries, so in total 4 attempts to collect the subscription payment.

Example timeline

  1. April 1: first charge
  2. April 8: first retry
  3. April 15: second retry
  4. April 22: third retry + cancellation

If the third retry is unsuccessful, your subscription will automatically be cancelled. Following the cancellation of your subscription, your account will be immediately moved to our free plan.

How will we notify you?

We will notify you about a failed payment when you are inside the dashboard using a notification that will pop up in the top right of the screen.

We will also send you in total 4 automatic emails notifying you that the charge was unsuccessful, asking you to update your payment method.

Pre-billing notication

We send a pre-billing notification via email 2 days before we charge your payment method on file. This gives you time to update your details if needed.
