How does Img.vision’s pricing work?
Img.vision offers image hosting for e-commerce brands, manufacturers, and marketplace sellers as a subscription. Image hosting comes in three tiers: Starter, Pro, and Pro Max, with multiple plans per tier. Higher tiers unlock more features; plans within a tier increase the number of online images, archived images (10x your online quota), and included traffic. Starter covers the essential hosting features. Pro unlocks all features, including tools built for marketplace sellers such as the integrated image editor, folder uploads, CSV link generator, and cloud imports. Pro Max includes everything in Pro with the highest image limits and volume discounts up to 20%. Video hosting is available as a separate subscription. Annual billing gives two months free (17% discount), and a free plan with 100 online images lets you test the service.
Do you offer regional pricing?
We accept payment in 32 currencies. At checkout, the price is converted to your local currency based on the current exchange from US Dollar, and charged in your local currency. You’ll have a chance to review the exact price before paying. If we don’t support your currency, we charge in US Dollars. Some local prices take into account purchasing power parity (PPP) to keep prices affordable worldwide. See here which currencies we support.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, UnionPay, Mada), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Bancontact and iDEAL. We also accept 22+ South Korean local cards. More info about our payment methods.
Can I upgrade or downgrade after subscribing?
You can upgrade at any time and changes take effect instantly. You receive pro-rata credits for the unused portion of your old plan on your current billing cycle, these are applied right away to pay for the upgrade. Downgrades are scheduled to take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
Are taxes included in the price?
We rely on our payment gateway to detect your country and show the prices on this site inclusive or exclusive of tax depending on your country’s standard rule. Have a VAT number? See the next question.
What if I have a VAT number or qualify for tax exemption?
If you have a valid VAT number, you can enter it at checkout. This may exempt you from paying VAT, depending on your country. If you forgot to enter your VAT number during checkout and were charged VAT, you can still enter it afterwards. A corrected invoice will be issued, and Paddle will automatically refund the VAT amount. Read the how to guide on VAT on Img.vision.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel at any time from within your dashboard billing page. You can also contact us for this.
Is there a free plan?
Yes, for the image hosting there is a free plan. The free image hosting plan only allows you to have 100 images online in your drive and up to 5GB of traffic per month. A typical web jpg is 11KB, which means you can show 476,625 jpg images per month. The images are watermarked with an ad advertising our service Img.vision. Only basic features are available to free plans. The free plan does not offer video hosting, image editing or galleries. Uploading more images than your free plan allows will force the oldest images to go offline to make room, at regular intervals these offline images are purged.
What happens when I hit my image limit?
When you hit your plan’s image limit, your images will still be uploaded but will be archived (stored, no public URL). You can upload and store up to 10x your plan’s online image limit as archived images. This means you can safely store all your images with Img.vision and only activate the ones you’re actively using. When images are no longer needed in listings, you can archive them again, freeing up space while keeping everything stored and ready for future use. You can exceed your archived images limit, a temporary burst is fine, a sustained breach means we will contact you to request you to delete images, or consider upgrading to a bigger plan. We never upgrade your subscription automatically or charge overage fees.
Do you offer discounts?
We offer two months for free when paying annually instead of monthly. This is applied as a 17% discount. Non-profit organizations may also be eligible for a custom discount. Our largest image plans carry additional discounts up to 20% (which can be combined with the 17% annual discount). Read on about discounts at Img.vision.
Do you offer refunds?
We don’t typically offer refunds because usage-based-costs are incurred as from the moment you use our service. You may always contact us, we judge case by case.
Is there a limit on traffic usage and what are the consequences?
Each image plan has a transfer limit per month (this is also called a bandwidth limit). Each video plan has a streaming minutes limit per month. Our plans are designed so that typical e-commerce sellers never hit these limits. You can read limits per plan in this help article. We understand that estimating traffic or streaming minutes can be difficult. If you hit the limit, we will contact you personally and propose a plan that suits your needs. We’ll keep your account and images and/or videos online for a reasonable time until you have had a chance to upgrade. Short bursts over the limit are typically considered okay and do not require an upgrade. We never auto-upgrade your account or charge overage fees.
Do the images in my listings go offline if I cancel my subscription?
That depends on the marketplace and how you use our images. For example, if you used our image links in bulk product excels to create listings on Walmart, then no because Walmart caches the images as long as your listing is active. On the other hand, if for example, you added your images to an eBay listing description, then they could go offline if you have more than 100 images in your drive. Do note, that as part of the free plan, a large watermark will appear on your images, which is not allowed by marketplaces.
Do I retain the rights to the images I upload?
Yes, you retain full rights to the images you own and you upload at Img.vision.
Do you publicly publish uploaded images on other websites?
No, we don’t publish your images on any other website. We also do not offer on the Img.vision website an image search engine or allow you to browse other people’s uploaded images, eg. we do not offer “click this button to get a random image”. You get full control over where you share your images online or how you use them. That said, we have no control over images you have shared online and how that audience reshares them.
Do you offer private hosting?
We do not offer private hosting in the sense that we allow you to limit view access based on user accounts or a password. However, we do offer functionality to make the image links unguessable after upload. Since we don’t publish image links anywhere online this makes your image link virtually private for whomever you share it with.
