It depends on the marketplace and how you use Img.vision image links.
Table of Contents
1. Marketplaces that cache images
Some marketplaces, like Walmart, store a copy of your images as soon as you create a listing.
- Example: If you bulk-upload products using Excel files with Img.vision links, Walmart will cache those images.
- Result: Your listings will stay online even if your Img.vision images are removed later, as long as the listing remains active.
2. Marketplaces that hotlink images
Other marketplaces, like eBay, display your images directly from Img.vision if added to the listing description.
- Example: If you insert Img.vision links into an eBay listing description, eBay will load them directly from your Img.vision account.
- Result: If you have more than 100 images stored while on the free plan, older images could go offline once you exceed the limit.
3. Watermarks on the free plan
On the free plan, a large watermark is added to your images.
- Marketplaces do not allow watermarked product images, so this will likely prevent your listings from being accepted or staying compliant.
👉 Tip: If you sell actively on marketplaces, we recommend upgrading to a paid plan to avoid image limits, watermarks, and possible downtime.
