Both the Img.vision dashboard and the upload server now run on new infrastructure. The migration is done, and I wanted to share what changed and why it matters to you.
Faster uploads, better uptime
The new setup handles traffic spikes more gracefully. During busy periods, uploads are processed faster because resources scale automatically instead of hitting a ceiling. If something does go wrong on our end, the system recovers on its own, so you’re less likely to run into downtime.
The dashboard should also feel more responsive. Browsing your image library, managing settings, uploading images: all of it runs on the same improved backend.
Faster, safer releases
Along with the infrastructure move, we built out proper app deployment pipelines. This reduces the chance of making mistakes and speeds up the deployment of new versions.
Do you need to do anything?
No. The migration is already complete. Everything will work exactly as before.
Also, this did not involve migrating your data (images, videos, folders,..), that infrastructure was already very robust, and did not change. Your image links did not change.
