Image hosting for manufacturers and brands
Img.vision gives manufacturers permanent, direct image URLs they can share with retailers and use in their own marketplace feeds.
Upload product images once, send the URLs to any number of retail partners, and the links stay live indefinitely.
No expiry, no redirects, no re-sharing every time a retailer needs to update a listing.

What this page covers
Why product images break across your retail network
When you distribute image URLs to retailers, you lose control over when and where those links get used. A retailer might paste your URL into an eBay listing today and a Walmart feed six months from now. Another retailer might reference the same URL in an Amazon flat file a year later. The URL has to work every time, on every marketplace, without you knowing it was requested.
That puts pressure on wherever you host those images. Most hosting options weren’t designed for this.
- ❌ URLs expire or change after a set period, forcing you to redistribute new links to every retail partner
- ❌ Cloud storage links (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive) require authentication or stop working when sharing settings change
- ❌ Retailers paste your URLs into marketplace feeds, and rate-limited hosts drop images when marketplace crawlers fetch them in bulk
- ❌ Hosts that auto-convert images to WebP or AVIF cause feed rejections on marketplaces that don’t accept those formats
- ❌ Hosts that rename files or add tokens to URLs make it impossible for retailers to build predictable feed mappings
The worst part: you often won’t hear about it. A retailer’s listing goes live without images, or a feed import partially fails, and nobody traces it back to the image URL. The manufacturer is the last to know.
What Img.vision does differently

Permanent direct URLs
No redirects, tokens, or expiry. Share a URL with a retailer once and it stays valid whether they use it tomorrow or two years from now. Works in eBay CSV imports, Walmart feeds, Amazon flat files, and any other system that accepts an image URL.

No throttling of marketplace crawlers
When multiple retailers list your products on different marketplaces, those marketplaces all crawl your images independently. Img.vision’s CDN serves every request without rate limiting or blocking, even when eBay, Walmart, and Amazon fetch the same image at the same time.

Follows every marketplace’s image rules
Direct URLs, correct MIME types, stable file extensions, no forced format conversions. One set of images that passes validation on every marketplace your retailers sell on, without per-marketplace adjustments on your end.

Image archive
Archive images when a product goes seasonal or gets discontinued, then restore without reuploading. The URL stays the same after restoring. Retailers who still reference that URL in old listings won’t see a broken image when the product comes back. 10x archived image limit included.
⭐ Shareable URLs your retailers can use directly
Img.vision keeps filenames exactly as you upload them. If you upload SKU-12345-front.jpg, the URL is always https://d.imgvision.net/your-drive-name/SKU-12345-front.jpg.
You can generate a full list of image URLs in Excel or Google Sheets:
="https://d.imgvision.net/your-drive-name/" & A2
Column A holds filenames, drag the formula down, and your entire catalog has its URLs. Send that spreadsheet to retailers. They copy the URLs into their listing tools, feeds, or marketplace uploads. No file transfers, no download links, no re-requesting images when something changes.
Works with every marketplace and listing tool
Your retailers sell everywhere. Img.vision URLs work in all of them: Amazon Seller Central, eBay Seller Hub, Walmart Seller Center, Shopify, Etsy, Kaufland, bulk CSV/Excel uploads, API feeds.
For retailers using omnichannel integrators: Rithum, ChannelEngine, Channable, Lengow, Linnworks, ProductSup.
Why cloud storage and email fail for product image distribution
Most manufacturers start by sharing images through Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, or email attachments. Retailers download the files, reupload them to their own hosting, and use those new URLs in their listings. This creates two problems.
First, every retailer ends up hosting their own copy. When you update a product image (new packaging, regulatory label change, updated lifestyle photo), you have to redistribute the files and hope every retailer replaces the old version. Some will, some won’t. Your brand ends up represented by a mix of current and outdated images across retail listings you don’t control. Using Img.vision, your retailers always use your image links, and you can replace images from your dashboard, without any effect on the image URL.
Second, if retailers skip the download step and paste a Google Drive or Dropbox link directly into a marketplace feed, it fails. These services use redirect URLs, require authentication tokens, and change link formats without warning. Marketplace crawlers can’t follow those links reliably.
Free image hosts (Imgur, Postimages) are worse. They delete inactive images without notice, throttle bot traffic, rename files, and use redirect-to-webpage URLs that marketplaces silently reject. Built for forums and casual sharing, not for URLs that need to stay live across a retail distribution network.
Your product images are a shared dependency. Every retailer’s listing quality depends on those URLs working. The hosting layer needs to match that responsibility.
