We’ve released a small but user-friendliness-enhancing update to new users registering an account:
When the uploader is finished uploading, it will now automatically close.
Previously, the default behavior had been to keep the uploader open and you had to press the minimize button in the top right corner:
Based on usage data
That’s an extra click that was sometimes confusing to new users, plus we can make the experience more streamlined by removing that additional click.
We’ve been analyzing usage in our dashboard and we found that automatically closing the uploader makes more sense than keeping it open.
You’re in control
Any existing users will still have the same experience as before, you can go to your settings page to also turn on this feature.
Any new users that wish to change this behavior, can also go into their settings page to turn the feature off.
