Since the begining of Img.vision we had an automated email sending you a confirmation from my email address after we received a subscription payment.
The idea was noble:
- Confirm we received the payment
- Thank the customer
- Open up an easy way to contact me if there were any issues — simply hit reply
In reality it was received together with the invoice/receipt email from Paddle, which already confirmed the payment was made. And some customers let me know it was an unnecessary and annoying email they kept receiving every month — which just ended up in the trash bin.
We’ve now turned off this automated email.
