Every time an image is requested, we instantly check if the browser supports webp and whether serving it would speed things up. webp images are typically 34% smaller than jpgs, meaning faster load times, without any visible drop in quality. All checks, conversions, and caching are done automatically in a split second.

We use lossless optimization to remove invisible image header data and image meta data. Cameras typically embed attributes as meta data into a jpg file. This data is not needed on the web. The craziest we’ve seen is the Lens Serial Number?!
3️⃣ Lossy compression
We compress the image data of jpg files on the fly, removing data that the human eye cannot see. The result is a smaller image that loads faster, and looks the same as the original.

Which image formats do you support?
We support these image formats: PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, HEIC, WEBP.
Do you offer private hosting?
We do not offer private hosting in the sense that we allow you to limit view access based on accounts or a password. However, we do offer functionality to make the image links unguessable after upload. Since we don’t publish image links anywhere online this makes your image link virtually private for whomever you share it with.
Do you submit uploaded images to Google?
We do not submit images you upload to Google or other search engines. We do not have control over what search engines decide to do if they discover your image somewhere online eg. Google may include it in their Google Image search. You can contact us to configure our image server to discourage search engines from indexing your drive – we offer this service at no cost to paying customers.
Do AI bots have access to the images I upload eg. ChatGPT?
We do not submit images you upload to AI bots like ChatGPT or Claude. We also do not publish on a public website links to these images so that they may get discovered. The only way images can be discovered by AI bots is if you share them online on a website and they are discovered by the AI bot visiting this website. That said, we can configure our image server to discourage AI bots from indexing your images – we offer this service at no cost to paying customers.
Do you publicly publish uploaded images on other websites?
No, we don’t publish your images on any other website. We also do not offer on the Img.vision website an image search engine or allow you to browse uploaded images, eg. we do not offer “click this button to get a random image”. You get full control over where you share your images online or how you use them. That said, we have no control over images you have shared online and how that audience reshares them.
Do I retain the rights to the images I upload?
Yes, you retain full rights to the images you own and you upload at Img.vision.
What is the Img.vision Speed Triangle?

Do the images in my listings go offline if I cancel my subscription?
No. Even if your cancel your image subscription with us, the images in your listings will stay online.
